About Me
Biography
I have dedicated my life to the transformative power of the arts, bringing over a decade of experience in communication, education, and performing arts. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, followed by a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, both achieved with honors. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership.
My professional career has been rich and diverse. As the Executive Director of Performing Arts & Youth Outreach at M&S Community Stars of Performing Arts and Academics, I have spearheaded numerous initiatives to support underprivileged and marginalized youth. My work involves teaching dance, drama, art, and communications to children, many of whom are homeless, fostered, or adopted. Through my leadership, these young individuals have found a platform to express themselves creatively and develop critical life skills.
In addition to my nonprofit work, I have substantial experience in arts education within schools. I have taught TV production, visual arts, and performing arts at various levels, from elementary to high school. My students have achieved remarkable success, including being featured in film festivals and securing prestigious auditions.
My academic and professional background, combined with my passion for arts education, makes me a well-rounded and committed educator, ready to inspire the next generation of artists and communicators.
